BS Filmworks is a content-creation company with three Emmy-winning storytellers who produce, write and direct. We tell contemporary, character-driven stories that are personal to us. We lean toward drama, but are perfectly comfortable in comedy.
Brock is a producer/director who handles the post production for BS Filmworks. He is a multiple regional Emmy winner and has won the New York Festivals WorldMedal for his graphic animations. He runs and operates his 4K production house Brock Creative, LTD out of Centennial, Colorado.
An avid sports fan, you'll often find him cheering on the local teams or chilling out in the Rocky Mountains in his mountain home.
Scott is one of our director/producer/writers who handles casting and filming for BS Filmworks. Originally a professional photojournalist, his keen eye for visuals helps drive our storytelling. His passion for telling personal stories has won him six regional Emmys and countless national and international awards. He runs Takeda Entertainment out of Denver, Colorado.
When he's not behind the camera you'll see him as a TV/Film actor in feature films such as "Dallas Buyers Club" and "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" and TV shows like FX's Emmy-nominated "The Americans.” And when he's not working...well...he's always working.
Lori is one of our writer/director/producers, however she's probably best known as being a national Emmy-winning writer for her work on the Food Network. Her long list of credits include HGTV's Living Alaska, Bang For Your Buck, If Walls Could Talk and Food Network's Unwrapped and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives...just to name a few.
This 30-year veteran has also won four regional Emmys in news and documentary. When she's not working, she loves international travel, wine, running marathons, and playing with her Corgi pups, Merlot and Pinot. (As we said, she loves wine.)
It used to be that folks once called Denver a "cow town." So we decided to have some fun with that old nickname by branding ourselves BS Filmworks. Established in 2010, the B and S are for original principal filmmakers Brock (Sherman) and Scott (Takeda). In 2013, we were very fortunate when Lori joined the team. She liked the name, so we've kept it.
